After Samuel Howitt's drawings (British, 1755-1822) after Captain Thomas Williamson (1790-1815), titled in English and French, "Shooting at the edge of a Jungle". Plate done by J. Hamble, No. XXVII, published in London by T. McLean, Jan. 1819. Image is double-sided, with page of text from Captain Thomas Williamson's "Oriental Field Sports" corresponding to the image verso. Slight rippling and some discoloration and spotting. Image is 17 x 11 3/4" high, in an antique maple frame with some wear and losses, 27 3/4 x 22 3/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $100-200
