Description A blue-and-white Chinese porcelain cup with a 6-character Kangxi mark and of the period. The interior features a young boy in a roundel with 4 lotuses, while the exterior depicts 3 boys with flower tracery against a blue ground. Dimensions are: 2 1/8 inches tall X 3 3/4 inches wide; 5.4 cm X 9.5 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition Report It is in good condition with a minor glaze chip on the rim.
Provenance From the estate of Albert T. Quon in Beverly Hills, California. Mr. Quon was the first Asian-American admitted to the Los Angeles Rotary Club and the first Asian-American to serve on the board of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce.
