Literature A pair of Tang Dynasty sancai horse statues is in the collection of the Kyoto National Museum, accession number G-124 (fig. 1). Another Tang dynasty saddled horse is in the collection of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, accession number 60.75. Two notable sancai horses, or three color horses, from the Tang Dynasty are in the collection of the Palace Museum, Beijing (fig.2, fig. 3).
