A large bronze stamp seal with openwork design comprising: central circle within a square with arm extending from each face to meet an enclosing circle, border to pointed petals joined to an outer scalloped border; inverted V-shape handle to the reverse. 76 grams, 83mm (3 1/4"). The Signo collection, the property of a West London businessman, formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s; collection number U-341, academically researched and catalogued by the late Professor Lambert in the early 1990s.
