Description Pre-Columbian, South/Central Coast Peru, Inca Empire, ca. 1200 to 1532 CE. A rare, well-preserved, hand-carved wooden vessel in the form of a duck, used in part of the preparation of snuff. The tray has a low, ovoid body and a raised neck with a small head and short beak.
