. This attractively-shaped bowl is coated in a slightly yellowish-green glaze, the colour of which varies according to its thickness (note the thick sags to the glaze around the inside mouth). The outer wall is decorated with a series of finely-carved leaf patterns. The inner foot remains unglazed revealing the pale grey porcelaneous body. Diameter 12 cm (4.75 inches). Song Dynasty (AD 960 – 1279).
