Advertising Interest - Rare early 20th Century shop display, 'Carters Tested Seeds, High Holborn London, Eng'd by Royal Warrant to His Majesty King Edward VII' displaying twenty-four named crops flanked by two columns of named seeds in glass circular containers, seventy-six of the original seventy-eight retained, all within golden oak frame behind glass, 68cm x 98cm Provenance: Local private family, by descent Condition: Two glass seed containers broken as per images. Some paint splashes to remove from glazing. Very minor vertical splitting above arch noticable between T and E of Carters, through G of High, between S and E of seeds and two N of Eng'd. Backing appears tobe a ply board and maybe of a later date.
