Good early to mid 20th Century Derbyshire Blue John pedestal cup or chalice, attributed to John Walker, the ribbed and waisted low circular bowl of Treak Cliff Cavern Blue Vein, 11.5cm diameter on a knopped and spreading circular stem, probably Miller's Vein, 15.5cm high, 978g approx Provenance - Purchased by Harold Fletcher, the grandfather of the current owner, resident of Darley Dale, near Matlock, when Assistant Managing Director of Derbyshire Stone Ltd circa 1950's/60's Condition: Typical old discoloured resin bonding to natural fissures of bowl visible in images. Minor replaced flake loss to rim. Base has two reattached sections visible on images, both have old glue residue and could be 'tidied up'. Otherwise sound. **General condition consistent with age
