Edwardian oak-cased triple-fusee bracket or table clock, retailed by Benetfink & Co, London, having an arched 7.5-inch brass dial, the silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic minutes framing a matted centre, beneath silvered subsidiary Chime/Silent and Slow/Fast rings flanking axe head retailers cartouche, the chain-driven movement striking on a coiled steel gong and chiming on four smaller, in arched case with wooden tracery, canted corners and stepped base, 56cm high Condition: Dial has tarnishing to chapter ring and cartouche. Movement appears to have been sat still for some period and will probably require an overhaul. Case has extensive blistering and cracking to curved roof plus substantial losses to one panel of tracery (incomplete losses detached but present), sold as seen.
