清道光 胭脂紅地軋道粉彩開光四時花卉圖盌
the deep sides rising to a slightly everted rim, the exterior finely decorated with four roundels containing flowers of the four seasons, separated by lotus sprays and reserved on a ruby ground incised with feathery scrolling, the interior decorated in underglaze blue with a central medallion enclosing pine, prunus and rockwork, surrounded by further flowering plants, the underside bearing a Daoguang six-character mark in underglaze blue and of the period.
