Description Bronze South-India , 15th to 16th century Dimensions: Height 49 cm by 17 cm by 20 cm Weight: 7966 grams Four-armed Shiva standing on a square and round platform. The raised hands are holding his attributes the trident or trishula and hourglass-shaped drum or damaru. The right front hand's palm is facing upwards, gesture of charity, and the left hand is showing the gesture of fearlessness. He is dressed in a beautiful dhoti and beaded belts and chains decorate his whole body. His conical headdress is topped with a lotus bud finial and incised with intricate patterns.
