Description Bronze with turquoises Tibet , 16th century Dimensions: Height 15 cm by 12 cm Weight: 989,5 grams Seated in royal ease pose on a lotus throne with beaded rim, the Bodhisattva is resting the left hand on the knee while holding the other hand in front of his chest with the palm facing upwards showing a flower petal with bud. The body is bent slightly to the left at the waist, the lower body wrapped in garment the all adorned with beaded chains and jewellery decorated with colourful stone inlays. The tiara is decorated with the grimace of a makara. The bottom is incised with a double vajra symbol.
