The other holds a skull cup or kapala in his lap and he is seated casually. He is dressed in wavy robes with belly and chest exposed. He is always depicted bare footed. A disciple or adorant is standing to his right with folded hands and gazing at the yogi. Two aureoles, one for his head and one overall, in beaded shapes surround him. The back is flat. Milarepa is regarded as the greatest yogi in Tibetan history.
