Description Bronze with silver and semi-precious stones inlaid Nepal, 13th to 14th century Dimensions: Height 9 cm by 6 cm Weight: 192,5 grams Buddha on a double reverse lotus throne with beaded rim and forming the bhumispharsa mudra. The robe covers the right shoulder and fans out underneath the cross-legged feet. A small vajra is placed in front of the Buddha sunken into the ground. Elongated earlobes frame the round face with three visible necklines. The eyes, nose and lips are very small and in a meditative state. A tiara sits on the Buddha's head. The bronze is still sealed on the bottom.
