Description Bronze India , 17th century Dimensions: Height 22 cm Weight: 1250,6 grams A hindu-shrine consisting of a three-stepped platform with decorative incisions. On the top platform we see a circular shape protruding from the floor which represents the yoni but simultaneously the body of a five-headed Naga snake which rises as a protective hood. The head of each snake is topped with a lotus bud finial. Nandi the bull is seated across from the snake on a small platform attached to the front. This bronze can be separated into two pieces.
