Passionate typed letter signed by the mother of Lee Harvey Oswald, the accused assassin of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. In this lengthy letter, Marguerite presents evidence that her son was framed for the murder of the president. Conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination abound, and she makes a very detailed argument for a cover-up.
Her letter, in part, “for his widow to claim the rifle which the government states was used to assassinate President Kennedy … would make her a party to a GRAVE ERROR OR TERRIBLE FRAUD … A study of Klein’s advertisements shows that the longer, heavier model was not advertised until the April, 1963 issue of American Rifleman … That was the very first time the … Carcano was available through mail order.”
