注脚
Named a Ningen Kokuho (Living National Treasure) in 2001, Yoshita Minori took over the family business at the early age of 19 and has developed a range of innovative techniques, breathing new life into the porcelain culture of his native Kanazawa. He is best known for the yuri-kinsai style of decoration seen here, in which cut-outs of gold leaf (a specialty Kanazawa product of unmatched quality) are applied, rather being painted on with brush, before the piece is fired.
