Tabrizi is an acclaimed, famous painter in Iran and abroad.
This work depicting, probably, a mother and child. A theme taken out of Persian and Qajar miniatures. At the background, fine calligraphy over, what appears, a gold halo, a theme, that may also correlate to byzantine work. 2 minarets appear to be on both sides, very colorful and adorned with calligraphy. The calligraphy baring verses from the Koran, serves both as decorative and functional means. The eyes of the mother and daughter also correspond to byzantine work.
