A pair of polychrome painted wood cabinets
Tibet, late 19th/early 20th centuryEach with six panels to the front, comprising two pairs of doors, each panel brightly painted with a peacock surrounded by leafy flowering peonies on a red ground, within floral and foliate raised panel borders, all supported by four corner feet inset to the front with a long apron decorated with gilt swastikas on a green ground. Each 94.5cm (37 1/4in) high x 45cm (17 3/4in) deep x 119.5cm (43in) wide (2).
