An impressive Chinese jade Bi-disk in the style of the 6th - 4th century B.C., circa 1900Very thinly cut and openwork-decorated Bi-disc. The central circle is filled with a Chilong dragon motif. The middle circle also in openwork technique with tendrils and mythical creatures. The 1.3 cm wide disc rim shows the archaic Lei-wen pattern (running dog). Partly translucent, partly spotted green-yellowish nephrite jade. With minimal marginal bumps, otherwise intact. Diameter 12 cm. Thickness 0.35 cm. Provenance: From a South German family collection, acquired by the father in China in the 1920s and 1930s.Condition: II +Condition: II + Eindrucksvolle Bi-Scheibe im Stil des 6. - 4. Jhdts. v. Chr., Nephrit-Jade, China, um 1900Sehr dünngeschnittene Himmelsscheibe in Durchbruchsarbeit. Den zentralen Kreis füllt ein Chilong-Drachenmotiv. Der mittlere Kreis ebenfalls in Durchbruchstechnik mit Ranken und Fabelwesen. Der 1,3 cm breite Scheibenrand zeigt das archaische Lei-wen-Muster. Teils transluzente, teils gefleckte grün-gelbliche Nephrit-Jade. Mit minimalen randlichen Besto?ungen, sonst intakt. Durchmesser 12 cm. Dicke 0,35 cm.
