A Chinese jade pendant with dragon and phoenix, circa 1900Almost rectangular pendant carved in openwork technique. A dragon and a phoenix grow out of a body, symbolizing the emperor and empress. Light, translucent jade with brownish inclusions on the heads. Intact. Length 7 cm. In the style of the Ming period (14th - 16th century).
