Description FOUR CHAM SILVER REPOUSSé BETEL NUT CONTAINERS
Champa, 18th-19th century. Each of baluster shape and richly decorated with floral and geometric patterns executed in repoussé, the lower segments and covers connected by silver or metal chains.
Provenance: Ex-Collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
Condition: Very good condition with traces of age and wear as well as white betel residue to the interior.
