1850-1900年 寶石素光鼻煙壺For a similar bottle, see Moss, Graham, and Tsang, A Treasury of Chinese Snuff Bottles, The Mary and George Bloch Collection, Vol. 3, Stones other than Jade and Quartz, pp.108-110, no.408.For a slightly smaller example of slightly deeper tone, see Hughes, The Chester Beatty Library, Dublin, Chinese Snuff Bottles, pp.174-174, no.138.Aquamarine is a gemstone-quality transparent variety of Beryl. It has a delicate blue or turquoise cast suggestive of seawater. It is closely related to the gem emerald and as such is quite fragile. The weakness of the stone is often apparent in the internal flaws and fissures found in so many of these bottles.
