A Nepali gilt bronze figure of a female bodhisattva, wearing a dhoti, crown, arm rings and large earrings, she is seated in rajalilasana, the left hand holds the stem of a lotus flower flanking her shoulder. 18th century. Weight 234 g. H. 7.5 cm. Provenance: Ph.D. and M.Sc.Eng. Jesper Trier 1932–2017 and wife. The submission of bids on this lot number requires the prior registration of a valid debit/credit card, presentation of photo ID and the payment of a deposit of 50.000 DKK on request. Registration of debit/credit card, photo ID and deposit is due no later than the 27th of November.
