He collected Chinese and Japanese art most of his life.

A rare Sino-Tibetan gilt-laquer and red-painted bronze figure of a Luohan seated in a meditating position with downcast eyes, right hand in vitarka mudra, on a separately cast double lotus throne. 15th-16th century. Weight 16500/26900 g. H. 36/51 cm. Provenance: The Swedish city architect Salomon S?rensen, 1856–1937. Salomon S?rensen was Malm?'s architect in the years 1893–1924. He collected Chinese and Japanese art most of his life. The submission of bids on this lot number requires the prior registration of a valid debit/credit card, presentation of photo ID and the payment of a deposit of 50.000 DKK on request. Registration of debit/credit card, photo ID and deposit is due no later than the 27th of November.
