Of bulbous form, the rounded sides rising from a flat base to a wide shoulder with short straight mouth rim, decorated in shades of underglaze blue with two large quatrefoil cartouches containing the ‘Hundred Antiques’ motif of auspicious objects including ruyi-scepter and books, all reserved against a hawthorn and ’cracked ice’ pattern ground, the base glazed.
