This deposit will be refunded to the non winning bidders in approx. 7 business days. Winning bidders will have 7 days to make payment in full in order to be released from the verification charge.
It is best to fill out the registration immediately to ensure that you are approved before the auction begins.
PROVENANCE: From The Estate of David George Glen (1924-2016) of Delaware, raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, the son of William and Agnes Glen. His formal education was completed at Daniels Stewarts College, Edinburgh, after which he entered the field of medicine. He was a certified rehabilitation specialist, serving in military and civilian hospitals in the United Kingdom. From 1942 to 1945, he served in the Royal Air Force.
In 1955 David immigrated to the United States, becoming a citizen in 1961.
Chinese Qing Ox blood Red Glazed porcelain Jar. Defined by the deep red glaze which is sourced from copper as the oxygen is depleted during the firing stage. Amazing monochrome porcelain with even coated glaze throughout. The Red glaze terminates around the opening and foot base, revealing the pure white underglaze. With some Inventory Tag labels, and Kangxi double circle mark on base.
