Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Famille rose wrapped floral amphora meiping jar. Potted into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall, globular body, slighty oval lower body, rounded shoulder concealing gracefully to a prominent cylindrical neck, wide flaring open lip, emerge two archaic beast flanked on the shoulder raised with short splayed foot base rim and slight concave. The exterior hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against translates to the pink family on a colored ground decoration, depicted of abundant various flowers blooms called flowers of the four seasons, surrounded with scrolling tendril, foliage and banded with interlocking ruyi shaped large pendants filled by scrolling clouds, interspersed by floral and fruiting banquets. The colors are harmonious, balanced, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.
