Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Douqing glazed ribbed garlic vase. Potted in garlic bottle vase, bulbous lower belly, thick, with rounded shoulder, short cylindrical neck, with shrink on the neck middle to enlarge onion head shape, emerge ribbed from upper mouth to foot base rim, with slight short mouth rim, raised on short small round, with slight concaved foot base. All reserved in pale green celadon under glazed ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin.
