This deposit will be refunded to the non winning bidders in approx. 7 business days. Winning bidders will have 7 days to make payment in full in order to be released from the verification charge.
It is best to fill out the registration immediately to ensure that you are approved before the auction begins.
Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, ChengHua doucai fruit abundant bowl. Potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward flaring mouth rim, raised on a high cylindrical, with slight concave footing. The exterior hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against doucai design color, is outlined in under glaze blue and filled in with over glaze colored enamels except blue colors which fit together but also contrasting or joined colors. Depicted of abundant fruits with fresh green foliage in flori form medallion. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy.
Mark on base, six under glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rectangles, Made in The Years of ChengHua Reign Period of Great Ming Dynasty.
