Chinese Qing Dynasty period, Douqing glaze sgrafitto double gourd vase on stand. Potted in a shape of double gourd resemblance, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, bulbous lower section finishing into a slender bottleneck at the top, suspending a short cylindrical neck, with a straight opening lip, raised on slightly short splayed foot base and slighty concave. Decorated in Douqing hand painting, all reserved in pale-turquoise- pale green celadon under glazed ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. Meticulous finish sgrafitto with scrolling interlocking tendril, flowers blooms and auspicious ornament. Elegantly and smooth presented upon a carved zitan hardwood stand with archaic ruyi pattern, created Majestic double gourd vase. The porcelain displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior.
Mark on base, a six embossed seal script characters reign mark, Made in The Years of QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
