His left hand is raised with palm facing the front showing a mudra with the ring and middle finger bent, karana mudra to expel evil. His right hand is lifted holding a vajra, a ritual object of Tantric Buddhism. The Dharmapala is wearing an armour and a flowy scarf is intertwined in his arms. A large garland, usually made of skulls, is dangling from his chest. The face is rather calm and human-looking with bulging eyes and a goat beard and moustache.
