Bronze Tibet, 13th century Pala Style Dimensions: Height 9,5 cm Weight: 83 grams A bronze stele with a standing Bodisattva in frontal position, the top is arched. The deity is holding a slab in the right hand, the other hand is hanging down to the thigh. It seems to be a female Bodhisattva with breasts, wearing a long dhoti. A beaded necklace decorates the chest as well as large ear pendants. The face is rather square with a large nose, smiling lips, closed eyes. A high tiara decorates the head with diamond bud finial and two round portruding circles on the side. Turquoise stone inlay highlights the jewellery. The figure is hollow in the back.
