The robe is loosely draped around the shoulders. The face is broad and smiling with downcast eyes, elongated earlobes. The urna is visible in negative relief, possibly a missing stone inlay. The ushnisha is relatively flat and broad. The Ding kiln in Hebei province produced white porcelain with elegant ivory-white hue and was counted one of the five classic wares of Song China.
