About the artist: Born on August 20, 1911 in the city of Mineralnye Vody, now the Stavropol Territory. Graduated: Krasnodar Art College (1932). Kiev Art Institute (1941). Teachers by specialty - P. Volokidin, K. Eleva, F. Krichevsky, S. Grigoriev. Painter, graphic artist, teacher. He worked in the industry of easel painting and graphics. Member of the CPSU. Member of World War II. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 2nd degree, medals. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1946). Associate Professor (1954). Honored Artist of the USSR (1982). He taught at the Lviv Art-Industrial School (1944). He taught at the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1947), professor (1974). Among the students -P. Balla, S. Karaffa-Korbut, M. Kiprian, V. Mikhaylyuk, V. Nikanorov. Participated in republican exhibitions (1947). Personal exhibitions - in Lviv (1973).
