Description A GERMAN MINIATURE STERLING SILVER ROYAL HORSE DRAWN CEREMONIAL CARRIAGE, MARKED, CIRCA 1910, modeled after the British Golden State Coach as an elaborately detailed ceremonial carriage with tasseled drapery trimmed windows over doors centering St. George killing the dragon in relief above grimacing lion's masks, beneath a hinged roof surmounted by a crown resting on a crossed sword and scepter on tasseled cushion and knight's badge, raised on a conforming carriage frame with rolling wheels and Neptune mounted on back holding aloft his trident opposite two frontal Triton drivers blowing their conch shell trumpets, flanking a crowned armorial shield enclosing a crowned profile lion and unicorn flanking a fleur de lys, the carriage drawn by eight paired galloping horses and each left side horse mounted with a liveried Postilion, the carriage roof and underside stamped with English import marks, a rectangular silver importer's initials "B.M.L," (Boaz Moses Landeck), a Chester oval two leafed acorn import mark, an oval ".925," (purity), import date year lettered "K," (1910), total approximate weight: 16.765 Troy oz.
