Description ZAO WOU-KI (Chinese/French b. 1921) A PRINT/BOOK, "Today," 1967, book with lithograph cover, signed and numbered 566/700 L/L in pencil, 2 pp. 12 1/8" x 9" Note: Inside page of booklet a rough translation from French: "This booklet which includes, on the cover, an original lithograph, drawn from the presses of Desjobert, was printed by the Imprimerie du Compagnonnage, Paris, and edited by the Galerie de France on the occasion of the exhibition from April 5 to May 21, 1967, featuring recent works by the artist at the Galerie de France. It was printed in seven hundred copies, all numbered and signed. Provenance: Estate of David E. Brauer, Houston, Texas. Condition Report Overall good to excellent condition,?wear commensurate with age. Simpson Galleries strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder.
