The porcelain potted in moon vase, thick and tall, with bulbous lower region, moon belly, sweeping up into a slender neckline and straight mouth rim, emerge two archaic ruyi handles flanked from neck to the shoulder rim, create majestic handles, raised on short rectangle foot base with slight concave footing. The exterior characterize decorated with delicate hand painting under variegate tones and shades of yellow and blue glazed depicted of flying phoenix beside snarling huge imperial five claws dragon careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves in a dark blue color dragon squama to chasing flaming pearl amidst flames and vapors. Elegantly and smooth presented upon a carved zitan hardwood stand with archaic ruyi pattern. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. Mark on under base, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
