Description Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, iron red bowl. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, broad cavetto, with slight flaring opening lip, raised on a small round, with concave footing. The exterior decorated with abundant peony flowers blooms interspersed scrolling foliage and enclosed with repeating key fret on upper and foot base rim. The foot base rim reveals the cut edges during the making process left unglazed with grayish creme-brown ground and dark spots of firing marks.
