Description Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, blue & white birds and landscape motif porcelain jar. The porcelain potted in jar shape, sturdily potted in a bulbous body, ovoid belly, gently tapered on shoulder toward prominent, with short neck straight small opening lip, and raised on small round flat foot base. All reserved in hand painting ornamentations, rendered in clean white under glazed ground color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color. The main belly adorned with some bird relax and flying bird among sturdy tree with lush foliage and flowers blooms, below cumulus scrolling ruyi clouds. The shoulder decorated with flori petals form describe of relax bird on the branch interspersed flowers blooms and foliage. Auspicious motief decorated on the upper mouth rim. Each section enclosed and banded with double fine rings. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme groundand dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
