Bonita encaderna??o n?o contemporanea inteira de chagrin verde com ferros rendilhados a ouro na lombada e um rótulo de pele vermelha com o nome do autor, ambas as pastas decoradas com singelos filetes a ouro e guardas em papel marmoreado. Corte das folhas brunido a ouro fino. Segunda edi??o, valiosa. Frontispício refor?ado e com a anota??o coeva de perten?a : ?He da Livraria de Diogo Jozé de Carvalho?. Leves manchas de humidade. No pé do verso da última fl. do volume, à direita vem a seguinte rubrica de chamada para o texto da pág. imediata: ?Come?, o que parece indicar que, ao fazer-se a impress?o deste último caderno do volume, haveria a inten??o de incluir na edi??o a Comédia ou Comédias de Sá de Miranda, o que por motivos hoje ignorados, n?o chegou a efectivar-se; ou ent?o deu-se o caso, aliás pouco provável, de se ter feito a impress?o dessas Comédias, mas n?o chegando a incluir-se as respectivas folhas no volume por quaisquer circunstancias imperiosas. Seja como for, o que é certo é que até hoje nenhum exemplar apareceu em que o seu texto ou número de fls. vá além das que o nosso apresenta. Beautiful non-contemporary binding in green chagrin with gold lacy irons on the spine and a red leather label with the author's name, both folders decorated with simple gold fillets and marbled paper guards. Cut of the leaves burnished in fine gold. Second edition, valuable. Reinforced frontispiece and with the coeval notation of belonging: ?He da Livraria de Diogo Jozé de Carvalho?.
