Description A Chinese wucai jar with a 6-character Jiajing mark and dating from the 19th century. The jar features 4 stylized ruyi frames containing 5-clawed dragons amongst lotus tracery. Dimensions are: 6 1/2 inches tall X 7 1/2 inches wide, 16.5 cm tall X 19.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition Report One dragon is missing an eye, but it is in overall good condition.
Provenance From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
