Description A pair of Chinese famille rose floor vases dating from the late 19th century. They are decorated extensively with scholar's items and roundels. They each have a pair of guardian lion with cub handles. Dimensions are: 24 inches tall X 8 1/2 inches wide, 61 cm X 21.6 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition Report They are in overall good condition with chips to both rims. One vase has minor abrasions.
Provenance From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
