Description A Tibetan silver and copper inlaid bronze Buddha figure dating from the 13th to 14th century. The Buddha Akshobhya is engaged in the bhumisparsha, or touching-earth, mudra and is seated on a double lotus pedestal with a covered base. The Buddha still features much of the original lapis and gilt pigment. Dimensions are: 9 inches tall X 5 inches wide, 22.9 cm X 12.7 cm. Weight: 700 grams. All measurements are approximate.
