Description A set of eight Chinese Huangyang wood screen panels with watercolor and ink paintings and inscriptions on silk, dating from the 19th century. The wood is carved with figures in landscapes with shou medallion and bat details. Dimensions are: the silk measures 17 inches tall X 5 3/4 inches wide, 43.2 cm X 14.6 cm, while the screen panel measures 51 inches tall X 9 1/4 inches wide, 129.5 cm X 23.5 cm. Condition Report There is staining, abrasions, and some areas of loss to the silk. There are areas of loss and repairs to the wood panels with some separation of the wood.
