Description A Chinese purple-ground dragon robe dating from the 19th century. The robe features gold thread and eight dragons plus one dragon in a secret panel. The dragons are surrounded by shou medallions and characters, the eight Buddhist emblems, bats, and ruyi clouds with a wave and rock motif along the bottom. Dimensions are: 52 inches tall X 85 inches wide, 132.1 cm X 215.9 cm. All measurements are approximate.
