Description A set of twelve paintings from a Chinese leaf album mounted on a paper backing and attributed to Gao Fenghan. The paintings are watercolor and ink on paper with inscriptions and seals. Dimensions are: Each painting measures 10 3/4 inches tall X 14 3/4 inches wide, 27.3 cm X 37.5 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition Report There is significant creasing throughout. Several paintings have some worm damage and spotting. One painting has a repair.
Provenance From a private collection in Northern Virginia. The collector is of Russian descent but was born in Harbin, China, in 1935. Following the end of WWII, her family moved to Shanghai and stayed there until 1952 when they relocated to Hong Kong. These items were acquired during the family's time in Shanghai from private collections and art auctions. When the family moved to the US in the late 1950s, they brought their collection with them.
