This deposit will be refunded to the non winning bidders in approx. 7 business days. Winning bidders will have 7 days to make payment in full in order to be released from the verification charge.

Dimensions: Height: 3-1/8" Diameter: 7-5/8"Chinese Yuan / Early Ming Dynasty porcelain Dragon bowl. The clay fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. The Chinese Ming Dynasty porcelain bowl potted of shallow vessel, rounded cavetto emerged steep round sides further to flat wide opening, raised on a splayed countersunk foot base. The exterior hand-painted with cobalt blue underglaze of two five-claws dragons chasing the centralized flaming pearl amongst fume clouds borne above cresting wavy water and rock mountain. Banded with a fine ring under rim. The interior decorated with flaming pearl enclosed within blue ring conforming the cavetto. The immaculate porcelain body is covered with a characteristic silky glaze, with various striations throughout the finish The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman. The glaze appearance on the blue painting resembled the texture of an orange peel "ju-pi" (chu-p'i) or a d chicken skin.
