Description A CHINESE DOUCAI BOWL QING DYNASTY (1644-1912), CIRCA 18TH CENTURY
Decorated in doucai enamels and underglaze blue, to the interior with a branch of fruiting peach, and to the exterior with various fruits and flowers. Chenghua mark in underglaze blue to the base.

PROVENANCE:
An old Melbourne collection formed by the vendor's father around 1950 to 1970, and thence by descent.
Condition Report Condition:
Two short hairline cracks emanating from the mouth rim, multiple small chips and frits to the rim. Wear to the enamels, particularly to the interior.
