Description A PAIR OF CHINESE DOUCAI DISHES QING DYNASTY (1644-1912), 18TH CENTURY, PROBABLY KANGXI PERIOD
Both dishes decorated in doucai colour pallette with interlocking circle of cloud-collars to the interior, and lingzhi fungus to the exterior. Jiajing six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double square to the base.
Each dish approximately 3.5cm high, 15cm diameter
PROVENANCE:
An old Melbourne collection formed by the vendor's father around 1950 to 1970, and thence by descent.
Condition Report Condition:
Both dishes with fritting to the rims and foot-rims. Both dishes with some repairs to some of the larger frits. Some minor wear to the enamels.
